Issue:
How to configure the Perle Series routers for bridging over a leased line.
Solution: From the Main menu, perform a factory reset by selecting the following options: Diagnostics menu Press the = key to return to main menu. Select the following menus and options. Configuration menu Press the = key to return to main menu. Select the following menus and options. Configuration menu Press the = key to return to main menu. Select the following menus and options. Save configuration Repeat the above configuration steps for the remote router. Since you are bridging traffic, make sure that the remote router's LAN IP address is part of the same subnet as the above router's LAN IP address.
Full reset - yes to reset.
Login using default password "BRIDGE" (upper case) and begin the configuration as shown below:

If using P1700 series routers, you will be asked for the Physical Link number of the WAN module. ie., 1

Press the = key to return to main menu. Select the following menus and options.

Soft Reset - select yes to reset.
