    At the Enabler screen,

:           Interrupt Level
           Physical and V86 memory
           Base Port Address

Make sure the vxd is loaded and the card is successfully enabled.
    Click  Continue
           Start.

    All tests should pass.
If you get a memory error, use the following instructions to
    attempt to resolve the conflict.

2.  Make sure there is no "EMM386" line in the CONFIG.SYS.
    From the W95 desktop,
    Click  Start
           Run

    Press the
    Click  C:\CONFIG.SYS

    Look for the following line
:    DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXENOEMSX=DC00-DDFF
If you have any line with the EMM386.EXE in it (with whatever
    variations), rem it out.

    To do this,
Key-In:  REM in front of this line.

    It should look like this

:    REMDEVICE=C:\...

Click the in the upper right hand corner.
When the question comes up to Save the File,
    Click  Yes

    Reboot the Computer.

3.  Retry Diagnostics.  (See Step #1 above.)  If you still get a memory
    error, continue with Step #4.

4.  Change the memory address of the Affinity adapter in W95.

    From the W95 desktop,
    Right-click  My Computer
    Left-click   Properties
    Click        Device Manager

    Highlight         Memory Range

This will take you to another screen.

Use the up and down arrow to move to an alternate memory address.

    (Ex: C000, CC00, D000, DC00)

Under Conflict Information, make sure it says
           "No devices are conflicting"

    Click  Okay
           Okay
           Yes

NOTE:  If you are unable to change the resource, click on the down
arrow next to "Setting Based On Basic Configuration..."
Select an alternate Basic Configuration XXXX

Try to change the resource again.
If you are still unable to change the resource, go
through each basic configuration until you find one
which will allow you to change the resource.

4.  From the W95 desktop,
    Click  Start
           Shut Down
           Restart the Computer
           Yes

5.  Retry Diagnostics.  (See Step #1 above.)

If you continue to get Memory error messages, try another memory
    address.

If you still are unable to get past the memory error, you may
want to check in your bios for Video Shadow ROM being Enabled.
In some cases, disabling Video Shadow ROM will solve the problem.

Another possibility is that the adapter is failing.
If you have another Affinity adapter at your location, try
    switching the adapter.

If, with the new adapter, you are able to pass diagnostics, then
you will need an RMA for the initial adapter.
