Issue:
When LDAP security is configured on the Iolan SDS unit, all authentication requests fail.

Cause:
The Iolan Login prompt user ID is used in the LDAP search. The search request attribute is UID. If the "uid" attribute is not configured for the ldap entry then the search will fail.

Solution:

Ensure that the LDAP entry has a UID configured equal to the UserID.
