When our users dialled-in the modems refused to answer
2. Manually remove all modems from the RAS service.
3. Reboot the system.
4. Reinstall the board with different COM number to force the system to re-query the modems.
5. Reinstall all modems using the NT wizard.
6. Reconfigured the NT RAS service.
7. Reboot the system
Issue:
After installing the Service Pack the modems connected to the AT-FAST 8 port stopped working. When our users dialled-in the modems refused to answer; even the ring-LED on the modems didn't flash anymore?
Solution:
To fix that problem we have done the following:
1. Un-install the board and all the related ports for the AT FAST card.2. Manually remove all modems from the RAS service.
3. Reboot the system.
4. Reinstall the board with different COM number to force the system to re-query the modems.
5. Reinstall all modems using the NT wizard.
6. Reconfigured the NT RAS service.
7. Reboot the system
