Issue:
DHCP limitations when used with the Perle 833 servers.
Solution:
The Perle 833 servers can obtain an IP address for the dial in clients from a DHCP server on the LAN.
The Perle only utilizes the DNS Name Server and WINS Name Server scope options from the DHCP server.
No other parameters from the DHCP server will be negotiated with the dial in client.
Note: the Perle 833AS and IS will request an IP address from the WAN network so a scope must be created to match the WAN network.
