Issue:
When the Perle 833 is configured for RSA ACE/SecurID security ISDN connections fail.
Cause:
Asynchronous data communication between the terminal window and the SecurID server is not supported when the ISDN TA modem is configured for ISDN.
Solution:
Configure your ISDN TA modem to use V.120 protocol.
V.120 is a standard for converting asynchronous data into synchronous ISDN data. Using standard, asynchronous-only COM ports and a V.120 terminal adapter (TA), two computers (dial in PC and the ACE/SecurID server) can communicate over an ISDN connection.
