Issue:
Shortly after bootup the Jetstream or CS9000 server it stops responding on the LAN.
The console displays a message:
deleting route to interface eth0
Cause:
Jetstream firmware problem: This problem occurs on firmware versions 2.3.1 and 2.3.2.
The Jetstream will delete it's route entry for the local LAN if it does not recieve a RIPv1 message stating that the route is active.
Also this problem can occur if RIP is enabled on the Jetstream/CS9000.
Solution:
Upgrade the Jetstream unit to the current firmware version.
Disable the Route Daemon (RIP) on the unit and ensure all Gateway entries are configured as Passive.
