Issue:
Using RADIUS vendor specific attributes for the CS9000 (v3.5.0+) on Steel Belted Radius.
Solution:
Steel Belted Radius uses vendor dictionary files to present any Vendor Specific attributes.
When adding a new RAS Client you can then select "Perle CS9000" as the Make/Model. Steel Belted Radius will then include the Perle CS9000 vendor specific attributes to appear on the attribute table.
To configure/enable the CS9000 dictionary, follow the instructions below (details can also be found in your Steel Belted Radius manual):
Note: backup your files before editing
Edit the //radius/service/vendor.ini file:
Add the following entry:
vendor-product = Perle CS9000
dictionary = cs9000
ignore-ports = no
port-number-usage = per-port-type
send-class-attribute = no
help-id = 2000
Edit the //radius/service/dictiona.dcm file:
Add the following entry:
@cs9000.dct
Create the dictionary file by copying Perle dictionary file a file called "cs9000.dct" into the //radius/service directory.
Then Stop and reStart the Steel Belted Radius service to enable the changes.
