What TCP/UDP ports are used for communication

Issue:
What TCP/UDP ports are used by the 833 servers for managenent, authentication and the Dial-out Client for Windows.

Solution:

833 Manager for RAS:

The manager's source port is UDP 20046 + 20047. The 833 will listen and reply on UDP 20048.

833 Manager for AS + IS v6 + RAS:

The manager's source port is UDP 20053 + 20054. The 833AS will listen and reply on UDP 20052.

833IS v7 Manager:

The manager's source port is the first available TCP port on the host. The TFTP server's source port is UDP 69. The 833IS will listen and reply on TCP 23 (telnet) and UDP 5550.

Dial-out Client:

The client and 833's source ports are UPD 33811 + 33812 + 33813

There are also other TCP/UDP ports used by the Perle depending on the type of Security that is configured:

NT Domain:

The Perle uses the Netlogon ports to communicate to the NT 4.0 Domain Controllers. nbdatagram UDP 138 and nbsession TCP 139.

RADIUS:

RADIUS authentication ports are commonly UDP 1645 or 1812 for authentication requests and UDP 1646 or 1813 for accounting messages. Note that this can be changed based on the exact configuration of the RADIUS server.

SecurID:

SecurID commonly uses UDP 5500 for communication. Note that this can be changed based on the exact configuration of the ACE/Server.

Axent:

Axent commonly uses TCP 2626. Note that this can be changed based on the exact configuration of the Axent server.
