Issue:
The WinAttach service will not start and an error message is produced that references "service-specific error code 1."

Cause:
This error can occur when WinAttach is not licensed.

Solution:
License WinAttach by entering an alphanumeric WinAttach key on the General tab of the WinAttach Configuration applet in Control Panel.
