Issue:
The controller was rebooted,and has an error in the lcd display 438908

Cause:
The AS/400 did not accept the connection request from the controller.

Solution:

If the controller failed or was powered off the remote controller description on the AS/400 can change its status to a failed or varied off state.
 To resolve status.
 1) Work configuration status controller (wrkcfgsts *ctl ) on the AS/400, find the controller vary on the controller descriptions.
 The controller description should now change to a status of active.
