2. Install the PCI-5250 card in your computer's PCI slot.

3. Power on your computer.

4. When your computer detects new hardware, it will prompt you to search for the drivers. Insert disk 1 of the Visilink Software into your computer's floppy disk drive.

5. Select the floppy A: drive as the location to search for the driver.

6. Once the driver have been installed, click Finish and restart your computer.

7. If you are using Visilink version 5.11 see Note 1 below before you continue. However if you are using Visilink Version 5.12 then continue with the next step.

8. After the restart of your computer, install Visilink software by running the setup.exe file from disk 1.

9. Accept all the default settings during the Visilink installation.

10. Once the Visilink software installation is installed, go to the Start program menu on the desktop of your computer, right click on the Visilink program and go to properties.

11. Click on the 'compatibility' tab.

12. In the Select box - compatibility mode, you must select 'Windows2000' so that Visilink can run in a Windows2000 mode.

13. Click apply tab, then click OK to save and end.

14. Start your Visilink program (from Start / Programs ) and configure your session(s). Refer to the Visilink User manual for details. Make sure you have yourtwinax cable connected between the Affinity PCI-5250 adapter cable and your IBM AS/400 system.
