Issue:
Tech note I/O4+ COM ports using DOS/Windows.
Solution:
The I/O4+ works in Normal mode with DOS or Windows. The I/O4+ emulates (and takes over
) the first four serial ports on a standard PC.
Enhanced mode does not take over existing COM ports. This mode is only supported on SCO UNIX/XENIX and PC/MOS 386.
