Issue:
Cause: Solution: As an alternative you can configure the Model 3i or M3PC to support a VT100 terminal emulation which is supported on most Windows terminal applications (such as Hyperterminal). As this is not a 5251 keyboard emulation, alternative keys will have to be used. Refer to the Model 3i and M3PC user manual for details (see DEC VT-100 Terminal instructions for the key table). Note: some terminal emulation software (such as Van Dyke Technologies "CRT")applications offer key mapping. With key mapping you can create custom keys to map to other keyboard combinations for ease of use. Configure your Ascii Controller to support VT-100. Configure your terminal emulation application to support VT-100 emulation.
