Issue:
The 833AS displays Debug Mode .... on the front panel when booted up.

Cause:
There is a serially attached device to the DB9 port on the system card.

Solution:

The DB9 port on the system card is for internal Perle purposes and is not a console port on the unit.

Remove the device from the DB9 port and reboot the unit.
