Issue:

When installing a driver using a media image, SCO fails to find the file.

Cause:

1. The driver image file (*.dd or *.img) was not renamed as VOL.000.000
2. The driver image file was transfered from another host using the wrong transfer mode.

Solution:

1. When installing software as a Media Image, SCO looks for a file called VOL.000.000. Ensure that the image file has been renamed to this specific name.
2. When transfering image files from one host to another you must use the Binary transfer method.
