Issue:
When using the 833AS or 833IS and the Dialout Client, the call fails if *, #, or additional digits are used in the dial string.
Cause:
The Perle DSP modems require the post dial character to be sent first.
Solution:
Add a "/" before sending any * (star), # (gate), or DTMF digits.
example: ATDT 905946508,/1234*
Refer to the User Guide AT Command appendix section for more details on the Dn- Dial command.
