Issue:
How much memory does a 594e require for multisession.
Cause:
A multisession configuration was created,but the multisession devices do not go active.
Solution:
The two tables below show the memory requirements for multisession devices.
Note:
A 594e base controller is configured with 8 megs of memory.

NOTE:
Certain devices and hardware configurations can yield a greater number of sessions than listed in the tables above, for example, if all attached twinaxial devices are non-ECB and non-DBCS then up to 1000 NWS (Non programmable workstations) multi-sessions can be supported.
The Perle 594e can be configured for up to a maximum of 40 controllers; these controllers can be emulated by actual feature.
